Canterbury District Health Board Master’s Scholarships

Closing 15 October (at Scholarships Office) These scholarships were established in 2008 to support research at the University of Canterbury on key operational issues facing the Canterbury DHB. Four initial projects have been identified in relation to current needs within the Canterbury DHB, and master’s scholarships are available for the academic year commencing in February 2009.

The scholarship provides for a living allowance and grant for tuition fees (see Note below for the current value) for one year.

Prior to the payment of any emolument, scholars will be required to enter an intellectual property agreement with the University and/or the Canterbury DHB.

Eligibility
New Zealand citizen or permanent resident Enrolling for Master’s degree by thesis at the University of Canterbury on a research project undertaken in conjunction with the Canterbury DHB.

Value: NZ$15,000 for living and research-related costs Up to $5,000 for tuition fees
